Back in the city

The last 6 years
Mostly lived as a recluse
Far away from everything
Didn’t have much money
But had a lot of time and space
To sit alone and contemplate
Worked intensely on skills and songs
For the last 2192 days
Living in a two-room apartment
In a small city in eastern Finland
Close to the Russian border
With replicas of old paintings on the walls
Some used furniture and crypto investments
I had mostly re-invested 
in books and recording equipment
And a new 4k camcorder made by Sony
Had reached a point in my life 
Where it was time to make changes
It was time to slow down and just stop
Re-calibrate, re-learn and re-align
So I dropped everything and walked off
Into the wilderness in France
To start my holy pilgrimage
Maybe I would never return again
Who knew back then but here I am
After all these years
Everything has changed
The world has changed
But in some ways
Nothing has changed
And maybe never will
Except of course 
The unchanging
Absolute.
