Got this as a gift few years back. Been kind of reading it here and there. 5% interesting insights and connections with different songs and elements. The rest of it is over-intellectualized drivel. I prefer to experience music rather than talk about it. I do like that the author is not a slave to genres. I just wish he would learn to say what he has to say without having to show off with his verbosity. The title makes no sense.
