Great book. Bit of a slow burn. Very academic and dense. Author doesn’t agree with Sapiens (Harari) narrative that agriculture caused humanity’s decline (or what he calls ego explosion). It happened the other way around and he gives a very compelling case for why that is so. Must read for all humans who want to understand the roots of what the hell is going on. That said, I am glad I finally finished it and I can read something completely different. Reality is too brutal for a sensitive dreamer like me. I want to escape. Help
