You cannot find time to do anything
You simply do it and time watches you
as a spectator, occasionally applauding
Sometimes booing when you suck
We have somehow created
this high tech habitat
with wool over our eyes,
blind to the inner causes
We only love nature when we are
warm and cozy
And nobody is trying to eat our faces
Its easy to romanticize and idolize
gods that have long ago died and rotted
But let me know how you feel
When you are out there in the blizzard
Without your sports gear and wifi
Let me know how it goes
When all you hear is the sound
of your dying hope
Only then will you know
who or what is real
That is the part
they left out
of the bible
The word of God
is a loveless howl
echoing in a cemetary
without graves
