eyes on me

be happy and kind and fun
to show your followers
that this life we live
is just a beautiful day under the sun
snowstorms and hurricanes
are coming your way
and whatever is coming your way
is your way
through whatever path you are on
so thanks for my leaders
heroes at my table
you continue to show me the love and light
don’t know who has the best god
the christians, the buddhists or the whateverists
love is not an emotional high
love is the space and the surrender
love is the place beyond time
not over the rainbow
but of the rainbow
eyes on me
make you proud
make you listen
with ears out loud
eyes wide open
just a mirror in disguise
met this girl
told her i want to know
what is going on
behind the beauty
the one within
the sacred divine being
who is that
who are you
who am i
nothing and everything
lets sit together
you do your thing
i do mine
all improv
may the curtains draw
and the show begin
