Nothing To Lose

Woke up this morning at 9:30. Last night we were at Temple Bar with my friends Dez (USA), Frida, Caroline (Sweden) David, Florian (France), Dario (Italy), David (Italy). We have become like brothers and sisters. I love these guys. Went to have breakfast, then watched the F1 qualifying. Congrats to Kubica on his first pole position, i am really happy for him. After that I went to the store and bought a delicious toasted eggmayo/ham/tomato/redonion sandwhich on brown bread and some Evian water. I was accompanied by Bruce Springsteen’s song Secret Garden dancing on my eardrums through my ipod which has become my favourite song of all time. I felt this joy inside me that i have never felt that much to that degree. I could see everything around me. I felt apart of everything. I was one with all. I smiled. I radiated. I almost broke into tears while walking back home. (But I am unabe to cry. I just can’t seem to let go like that. There is a wall still around my heart but slowly it is coming down. I am becoming more free as the wall collapses. When I was a child I cried from the smallest things. I cried so much that i guess it was so I wouldn’t have to do it later haha. There is good tears and there are tears that flood the streets and cause havoc). Home is what I have started to call the hostel. I sleep in a room with 26 people. I have nothing. This means I also have nothing to lose. This means I am free. In a way I have everything. I only own a guitar and some clothes. I need nothing. I am in love with my life right now. I am standing on the top of the mountain. I am not perfect nor will I ever be. I still have desires, dreams, regrets like any other human being. When I earn money, i try to get rid of it as quickly as I can. I avoid buying ’thing’s. I buy mostly wine and tickets to shows and films. I am pretty much broke although busking has become like an atm for me so if I need 20 euros, I just go play for a few hours. I guess that means I have a cushion to fall on and knowing that deep inside is very comforting. Money is very important in life. It is what we use to show respect. It keep things organized. Its importance shouldn’t be underestimated. Money can be a beautiful thing. But it is also a very dangerous thing if you let it control you. I am very rich inside and that is different to having lots of money. Life is so fascinating. Tomorrow is so far away that I no longer have time to think about it. Right now is what matters. This moment. Life is oozing through my veins. I am a human being capable of extraordinary things. I feel like I am becoming a great man. As great as you and everybody else. Everybody is a millionaire. I gotta book some flights now!
