(preparing for the new year)
A new decade. The first day. 2010. January 1st. I feel good. I am full of life. I am invigorated. I want to experience the real essence of who I am and what is going on around me. I believe in individualism. We live our lives for ourselves. Ultimately, it is our thoughts that guide our actions. The kind of life I want to live is a simple one. As for fame and success, I say be the most famous person to yourself and be your own idol; your own guru; your own god. True success lies in enjoying the small everyday things, good and bad. Give me sunshine, clean water, fresh air, unprocessed food, sufficient sleep, healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, exercise, inspiration and I’ll give you a man worth remembering. Thank you for being here. It’s a pleasure and an honor to be alive.
