Old As The Hills

i am the crack in your armour
the glitch in your matrix
i’m the one, and the no one
lived the life and times of a video game youth
some parts of me never grew up
and some parts of me
were old all along

saw things like sorrows
in the eyes of the kind
found clarity in the mist
so often missed subtle beauties
when we get too caught
too caught up

in the busyness games, capitalist wars
in the name of commerce
long lasting bloodlines
of men like me

who live for something
much less worse
entirely different
if you saw what i saw
you might know what i know

so i am here show
how to take it slow
how to let it flow

you just gotta shake
the snowglobe
