hello old friends
and young strangers
we’re gathered here
in the name of survival
to steer this great ship forwards and towards
freedom from our mythologies
i was sent to tell you
of great things awaiting us all
if you would only spring forth
and lock eyes with the monsters
of greed and apathy
such words flow through my fingertips
all we can do now is
change our lives for the best
until they are aligned with the ways of eternity
the fires of the revolution are beginning to light these streets
it’s all around the world now
and there to be seen
for that fire is you and me
i give you my love now
and faith in conquering
that which until now has held us back
