That which is Real, can never be destroyed. How long will any of us be here? Death is coming. Maybe it is the only thing that saves us in the end.
When you see my content, the experience is REAL. I cannot take that away. I wish there was a way that everything disappears automatically after it is seen. Or maybe the user can decide if they want to save it and then the creator cannot control this decision any more. That would be cool… there’s a reason why bands and artists have record labels because they are all like me. Endless obsession over editing and details that nobody else even notices.
Big names have even PR companies filtering everything so i am sure they cant delete anything even if they wanted. There would be legal consequnces…
I’m personally not crazy about others being able to scroll down and see what i did a year ago. That bothers me. Songs yes but process no. Songs live forever. Process is constantly evolving. And i am trying to share that, giving glimpses here and there.
When someone buys my music, it is theirs. They download it or get the CD. I no longer can delete it. But remember, all this social media stuff is completely free. So as long as it is free, i have some control of it. Not sure that is good or not… it is all just exploration and experimening. The delete button is there. Why is there? So it can be pressed. Give the artist options and he will mess with those dials and press those buttons until the cows come home!
