Thoughts On Eating Meat

If you had to kill an animal to eat meat would you?
Why don’t we eat other humans?
Are you against eating meat or the meat industry?

Perhaps meat related diseases and illnesses are in fact due to over consumption instead of moderation. However can you eat too much fruit and veggies? No. Can you eat too much oranges or drink water? yes. Saturated fats and cholestorol are harmful and completely unnecessary in the diet. B12 is necessary and you can’t get it from plants. Where do animals get it? Do they produce it? Sea plants maybe? find out… Killing something is = eating. But if you recognize the symbiotic nature of everything, nothing really dies or lives just goes on. Torture, suffering, is another matter.. Slaughterhouses are like concentration camps. Pigs, cows, sheep are unnatural. Wild game is not although it is probably mostly unnecessary in our modern world. Naturally vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds taste good. For a human meat has to be a) cooked b) spiced up….so the ‘taste’ of meat is not what you know it to be.

Research shows that people’s taste might have more to do with values than actual taste: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/07/080716205208.htm

Ask yourself: What if you are wrong? It certainly seems like the whole issue of eating, health, vegan, meat, etc is still in a confusing state where most research and scientific data seems to be very contridictory which is understandable since it is a hard thing to study because you can’t just isolate diet factors as indicative of a person’s health. Don’t believe too easily what you read. Find the theory against that belief and weigh them. Use your own head and experience and think about what is aligned with nature. Nature is the truth. The truth is sometimes unpleasant so don’t avoid it. Vegatarian health studies: vegans are usually more concerned with their diet and lifestyle. Meat eaters does not equal obese mcdonald loving couch potatoes.
