I decided to scrap the “gradual changes” thing and just live life the way I want to right now because honestly I know what to do and what needs to be done. Sure, I will probably make mistakes here and there and fall down occasionally but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t try to live the best life I can live. And this is not really even about me anymore.

Last night I made a decision in the evening and I woke up at 4 am to release the decision on paper which helped me understand that this is the way to go.

So today is really day one although of course many things had to happen for day one to come to fruitiion.

The most important things for me to hold onto which will form the core of  my lifestyle and philosophy are the following two things:

* veganism
* drug-free living (alcohol, cigarettes, narcotics, etc)

That is the core. Everything else builds upon that. By vegan I mean no animal products whatsover in anything I consume be it food, clothes, furniture, cosmetics, etc. I know it is near impossible to avoid them 100% in some things because a lot of materials might contain animal products which I might never even about but if I do, I will do what I can to make alternate choices.

This also means boycotting certain organizations or businesses if I feel that doing so helps the cause overrall for which I fight (more on that elsewhere). Again, even this will be tricky in some situations because I do have certain needs and even some conveniences are so constructive to me right now that certain boycotts might have to wait (like Amazon or the monetary system). So the “gradual changes” might apply here if I consider it wise. And yes, I narcissistically admit that the choices regarding some of these might be made more out of convenience (to mysefl) than fighting ‘the cause’. Then again, a better me is a stronger cause (other rationalizations aside)!

Also, the way is something I have been working on and refers to how one is to live in today’s world and the cause is what to live for. I naively hope that I can get as many people as I can within my lifetime (and even after!) to understand how important it is to live the way and fight for the cause. Of course I know people must make their own choicse and I can only put information on the table and inspire others with my own state of well-being (which shouldn’t be too hard since most people are desperate for answers and heroes).

I will develop these concepts further in the future and who knows maybe I’ll even start a cult! (although that cult might only be apart of a fictionary utopian novel that is starting to shape together in the back of my mind.) It will not be unlike huxley’s island or other similar works. I am pretty sure that my future career will be that of a writer but I think it’s too early for that. The novel should be done in the next 10-30 years by which I hope to find the right story to carry the philosophy! Most likely the story will be my story.

I will be writing more about the changes this week but now I’m going to go to the park to do my strength training and get some beautiful sunshine.
