What are you passionate about?
– learning and creating art
What are your personal strengths and areas for improvement?
– strengths: very energetic and determined to pursue my interests
– weakness: very sensitive and always wanting to do more, more, more; nothing is enough. As the saying goes always be happy but never satisfied.
What are some experiences which show you are self-motivated
with leadership qualities?
– i’ve been in several bands and in everyone i have been the singer, songwriter and leader and in control and responsilbe for the whole thing.
What is one recent challenge you faced and what did you learn?
– last 10 years music career, under-estimating the importance of understanding the playing field in a given pursuit e.g. music business. I learned what it really means to succeed or “breakthrough” and this applies to not just music. Being genuine, do something very well, inspiring others, talent, etc. Most importantly understanding the world as it is.
What are your non-academic interests and skills?
– expressing myself through art, watching movies by the great film directors, reading novels. People.
What are you currently working on?
– a new album of original music. Studying the philosophies behind marketing and economics.
Where do you see yourself five years from now?
– Going as far as I can with academic studies so at that time I should be in the midst of completing my master’s degree in the field I choose .
Why study here?
interdisciplinary nature of the curricula is very attractive. To be honest, if I found such a degree earlier in my life I would’ve been studying much earlier. This is exactly what I have always been looking for but unable to find. To quote your video “the course is like a mosaic with lots of pieces, where one can choose and create their own composition and study subjects you are most excited about”
something i just realized: i can choose 2 modules instead of one and not have to decided on which one to pursue until my master’s degree. This is great because i am interested in the phil/anthr as well as some of the others. Again, to quote your video “to get different perspectives to help hone in on what i want to study more”
MY QUESTIONS:
* ANY FOREIGN EXCHANGE PROGRAMS?
* ARE THERE INTERNATIONAL PROFESSORS?
